Allision plans to attend Salisbury State University where she will
major in Elementary Education. Achieving higher than a 4.00
grade point average and ranking in the upper ten percent of her class at
SHHS, Allison describes herself as a "Rebel" forever.
She has been active in a wide variety of school activities:
Student Government all four years, helping to organize pep rallies, homecoming
events, and blood drives, Junior and Senior Varsity softball all four
years, serving as Captain one year; peer helper in the Guidance Office,
tutoring and All-County Honor Chorus. Allison is a member of the
National Honor Society and was selected to the National Honor Roll, the
National Society of High School Scholars and Who's Who among American
High School Students. Allison looks forward to returning to Washington
County as part of the teaching faculty and perhaps later as part of the
administration of the school system she loves. This scholarship
will be especially helpful to Allison who is determined to help her
cover her own educational costs. |
Jeanie plans to prepare for a career in medicine at Grace College in
Winona Lake, Indiana. At SHHS, she graduated third in her class
with a grade point average of 4.28. A member of the Honor Club all
four years and the National Honor Society for the past two, Jeanie has
been an active member of Key Club, International Club and has participated
in numerous groups and activities. She has been involved in class fundraising
activities, blood drives and support for dances and concerts.
Jeanie has also taken advanced work in music and drama, participating in
the All County Chorus in both solo and ensemble events and many musicals
productions like Annie and Fiddler on the Roof. In
addition to her outstanding academic record and many school activities,
Jeanie has had a perfect attendance record each of her four years in
high school. |
